CC&S 216

Hello, happy tuesday to you. I can't believe march is almost over.... time flies. For this week's sketch challenge at CAS colours and sketches I tried a new (to me) technique . I made my background using watercolor paper and various nail polishes. I saw this technique recently and wanted to give it a go. I added the nail polish to a pan off water (use pan you won't put food in) dipped the paper in and then let dry. The drying took a long time, so left mine overnight. I flipped the sketch . I hope you will join us.

  6. What a fabulous effect! At first I thought it was alcohol inks, but it has a shimmer that AI wouldn't give! Beautiful. Thanks for the inspiration! Luv n’ Hugs. Hazel xx
