Well, Easter is almost here again, time to create some cute cards to send out. Who am I kidding? all the cards I make and rarely do I send any myself.. this is one for my mom to send out. Greetings! finally I have something to post. Truth be told I wasn't feeling inspired, my job stress really got the better of me the last months..... but now that I am not working any longer I can relax and create again. This is something I created for 2 challenges... Make it Monday @ Papertrey Ink and Case Study. How you all have a great nite....Sam ****UPDATE***  4yrs later I am sharing this card again  for  PTI past, present and future challenge. You were asked to share a card you were most proud of. This card sort of tells the story of my life at that time... I had just ended a very stressful job and was seeking new employment . I wasn't feeling very inspired to create ( took a long break after this post) but still found some creative spark. This card was feature in PTI April newsletter... which makes me very proud. Also it's one of my more popular pins .  Happy to report I've been at my new (and much happier) job almost 4 yrs now.

Hello Sunshine! I wish, another gloomy winter day in northwest indiana. We finally got some snow yesterday and it seems people forgot how to drive in it.  I usually shy away from black backgrounds, favoring black as an accent color.... but i enjoyed challenging myself to try something outside my comfort zone. Speaking of comfort zones, off to bed now after a grueling day... I'll be back later to check out all the other bloggers cards. Nite, Sam

Hello, hope your monday is going well. Busy last few days here, as I had my sons in the regional chess tournament, went thrift shopping with hubby(found tons of great books CHEAP for me and the boys) , wardrobe shopping for hubby's new job(after almost 4yrs of unemployment) and mass card making..... A last minute Make it Monday.....
