Make it Monday #38

Hello,  I'm back with a take on PTI's Make it Monday #38 challenge.  Sadly i do not own any of the fabulous PTI impression plates(sigh!) , so i used a sizzix folder.....spent all my money on stamps and dies. I used the new aqua mist ink here, love it! i can not wait for the rest of the colors to come out. Thanks for visiting me today. Sam

PTI October blog hop

Greetings,  Happy tuesday to you all who hopped in . This is my take for this months blog hop.  I have been making tons of fall themed cards and wanted to make something other than a fall card......err truth be told my pti order arrived today and i was dying to use the goodies in the box.  Fellow pti addicts, have you ever added up what you spend in the wonderful stamps, inks, paper, ribbons or dies that you simply must have? Well i did tonight before i posted this, just because i noticed how many invoices i had..... so far i've spent $718.00  this year( hangs head in shame)  I think an intervention is greatly needed.  I knew i had alot of stuff, but really ? Wow i have it bad . So to Nicole Heady.... remember those of us who are helping those cuties of your's with the college fund... hehe Sam

Another friday night of crafting.......

TGIF everyone!!!! yeah i made it to friday.  It was a stressful week.  So to un-wind i like to shop and craft.... ordered myself some new stamps, can never have enough and than created some cards. Now feeling much better.  This little number is for the friends with flair challenge @ Unity  and Cas-ual friday's # 25.  I used my copic markers to color the image in and rubbed a little pearl ex over the moon(not sure if it shows up) to make it stand out more.  I plan on using this for dh's cousin Jenny who after years of trying is having not one, but 2 girls soon.  Have a great weekend, i'll be back soon. Our creative corner's transparent challnge

Greetings from outside the windy city, where it's very windy and rainy today. Thought i might have seen a house blow by earlier... LOL. Greetings! This is my take on the cas-ual friday's #24 challenge, a halloween card without any orange. How ftting i should post it today, as i'm eating the halloween candy... why do i buy it early? i always end up eating some of it.

This lovely is for 2 challenges....... The paper players red/green Christmas challenge  and also for clean & simple's sketch #162.  the papers are from authentique's wonder 6x6 pad... love the holly paper will need to hoard more of it. It's late here so i'm off to bed... nite Sam

Tuesday Trigger

Hello, happy sunday to you. Here is my take on moxie fab's tuesday trigger "finses the dress" .  I realised after that the metal thank you charm doesn't photgraph well.  Stamps are pti, i used versa mark and rubbed grey chalk over it, the ribbon is cream seambinding... since i had no grey i used a copic marker to change the color.  I ws pleased with the end result.  Sam

Make it Monday #35

Here is my take on papertrey's make it monday make your own washi tape. I used background gingham stamp on my "tape" .  I had a little trouble with this challenge, because i kept getting my fingers all sticky from the tape and had a hard time getting the tape where i wanted it. off to work now, another busy day for me.
