Hello! I'm re-visiting an old card idea I used some years ago . I changed up the colors, but the basic layout is the same. Do you ever do that? Sometimes I like a layout so much I'll create several cards in various colors . I have lots of friends that enjoy religous cards at Christmas time so I always try to make a few of those too. Smell the sea

Hello! I'm stopping in with a share for the CAS Watercolor challenge. Since the theme is Ocean I choose this sentiment from IO , it's one that really speaks to me. I will be sending this card to my cousin , he works in the cruise industry so I always send him sea or boat cards. Hello! I have had a busy few days. My mom was out of town so I had to keep an eye on my Step Father (who had a brain injury 16yrs ago) , he is a hand full and gave me a hard time. Now that she is home I can relax. I wanted to make something fun and playful with these colors, so butterflies it is. I love to be inspired by my fellow DT members cards , as well as all of you who play along each week. It really helps each of us to think outside of the box. Thanks for stopping by today.

Hello! I'm back with a card to share for the Holly and the Ivy Christmas challenge. It's been really cool here recently, lots of rain . The weather has me feeling like a snowflake card this week. I used distress oxides over glossy paper and the stamps are PTI (snowflakes) and SSS (sentiment). I like blue backgrounds for snow cards ,but I need to try other colors. Welcome! Thanks for stopping by today. I'm sharing my card for this week's sketch challenge. I wanted a more interesting background for this sketch. I used broken china and peacock feather oxide inks over glossy paper, then some distress glaze , and buffed with a dry cloth. I added a simple birthday sentiment and that was it.    I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.

Hello! It's been a very busy weekend here, my oldest got his driving permit, errands, laundry that never ends, and got together with a longtime friend. I finally got a chance to play along with this months challenge at CAS watercolor , also playing along with the Create along with us challenge at Papertrey Ink . I love all things ocean so this challenge really spoke to me. The whale and sentiment are from PTI , I used both distress ink and distress oxide ink for the background. I hope to make 2 more for this challenge before it ends as I have a few more ideas I'd like to try. Thanks for stopping by today
