THAIC #75

Hello! I hope you all are doing well. It's been a busy month for me here, so I'm looking forward to some downtime. Maybe then I'll catch up on my card making? I sell my cards in a couple of local shops and I've not had time to go check their inventory since they reopened. I hope you will join of for this anything goes challenge.

CC&S #376

Hello! I'm back with a fun sketch challenge. I knew when I saw this sketch I wanted to ink blend a rainbow and this sentiment is the perfect fit. We could all use some brighter days couldn't we? I know I could, mostly 6/27. We have planned a small family graduation party for our oldest and hoped to have it outside where we can space people a bit further apart...forecast is for rain. Praying that the weather is good. Poor kiddo missed out on so many fun senior things the last few months I want him to have a great party. We have family only during the day (27 people) and he has his friends(26) in the evening, same day. It'll will be a busy one for sure. I hope you will play along with us . Thanks for stopping by today.

Hello! I'm

back with a card for this week's color challenge. I used some tiny dies from Taylored expressions for the scene and the sentiment is from SSS. I've still been working hard getting ready for my son's graduation party. Even though we are having a small party during the day (family only) and a small amount of his friends in the evening.. it still needs to be nice. Yard is done, menu planned, just need to assemble the center pieces. I hope you all have a great week.

CC&S #374

Hello! I hope this week finds everyone doing well. I have been really feeling stressed lately so I needed to use happy colors. I think rainbows are the happiest colors you can use. This is for this week's sketch challenge. Last night we had a drive by graduation for my son, it was quick.. called his name, walked the stage , turned in gown, got the diploma packet , back in the car. At least it was something. He was so happy to see some of his teachers. It's been a tough few months for everyone, I would like to feel normal again. Thanks for stopping by.

Wishing you peace and joy

Hello! I hope you are doing well. It's been stressful, but I'm sure it is for everyone. I have been making some progress in getting our house ready for the (sadly) family only graduation party for my oldest son. My yard is almost ready and the house is ready. Now to finalize a menu. Thanks for stopping by today.

CC&S #373

Hello! What a week it's been. I live just outside Chicago, in NW Indiana (my city borders the SE side of Chicago) and it's been a very stressful few days here.  In the last 10 days we have had 3inches of rain in a 15 minute time frame which caused flooding to our basement, while trying to enjoy a nice nature walk hubby , the dog and I brought home a bunch of ticks (gone now,YUCK) and the new town over from us had riots and looting yesterday. There wasn't a business not effected or burned down. All around too much going on. On a happy note I made this card...I'm hosting this week's color challenge. I picked these colors because they remind me of the ocean and that is peaceful and calming. I hope you will join us. Thanks for stopping by.
