Just a note to brighten your day

Hello . Had to make a bright colored card , gloomy weather here ... Ice storm . I tried my hand at the PTI MIM # 235 adding color to stamped images , I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out since I fused with it so much . Maybe I should have chosen a small image to color ?  Added some shimmer to the background for interest . Thanks for visiting .

Merry Christmas to all! Had a wonderful holiday with my family❤️ my boys are all watching Dr. Who , so I took advantage of some time to myself . Hello, trying to keep busy ... I have lots on my mind today . Card making has always been my therapy ... So today I made lots and glue my fingers together . These cards are for a special friend for Christmas , I always make her thank you cards . I picked up this fabulous new shimmery watercolor paint set ( Michaels in the ART section ) I wanted to try out . I couldn't pick one color so I used all of them . Hello , a late night posting for me . My boys had chess practice tonight , so I didn't get a chance to create as early as I'd have liked to. This card didn't photograph as well as I would have liked it to . I stamped the image in versamark and then dusted on some colored pearl ex . It really is really colorful . Finally finishing my own Christmas cards , I've been working all week on cards a friends asked me to make . Hubby hasn't taken the photo that we send with the cards yet , so still not ready to mail . I choose this theme this year as we are planning a big family trip to Alaska this summer ... Can't wait . Hello, my weekend got away from me once again , so here I am with a late night post before bed . I am entering this card into SSS Wednesday challenge "Christmas" , AAA cards "anything goes" , and also JUGS " red , green and gold" . I am happy with how this turned out , just not the mess on my table trying out different inks and stamps . Have a great night.

So I stayed home from work today to take my 11yr old son to see an orthopedic surgeon , he is not a ninja ... Broken elbow proves that . He is doing well tonight so I'm sneaking in craft time . Day off crafting

So today I'm enjoying a much needed day off. Plenty to keep me busy as we are headed to Fort Wayne shortly for a chess tournament for my kiddos .. Long day of sitting around tomorrow , I hope to finish my Christmas cards. I snuck in a little crafty time while doing some laundry . Hello, it's a stormy evening here outside Chicago ... So since I was hanging out in the basement anyway I decided to play along with this challenge . I liked how the negative from the watercolor end cover plate turned out I used that for a card also . Going to try to finish my laundry while I still have power . Good nite !
