I recently picked up this stamp set from an instagram de-stash , the sentiment is perfect for galaxy backgrounds. Hello, happy sunday to you. I hope you are having a nice relaxing weekend. My boys are finished with the chess season for this year, so I should have more free time. I've been hard at work on my holiday cards, I should have plenty by Thanksgiving. This week's challenge at Christmas Card Challenges is based on the photo of a gingerbread house. I have had this stamp set for awhile and have yet to ink it up. I chose to go for the same feel as the inspiration photo. Thanks for stopping by.

Hello, happy tuesday to you. I can't believe march is almost over.... time flies. For this week's sketch challenge at CAS colours and sketches I tried a new (to me) technique . I made my background using watercolor paper and various nail polishes. I saw this technique recently and wanted to give it a go. I added the nail polish to a pan off water (use pan you won't put food in) dipped the paper in and then let dry. The drying took a long time, so left mine overnight. I flipped the sketch . I hope you will join us.
