CCC #21

Hello, welcome back. I'm sharing another card for the Christmas Card Challenge DT. This time the theme is "coookies " ..yum ! Oh wait I gave up sugar (yep I'm nuts , and a bit crabby ) so  this is the only cookies  I can have right now. It's getting closer to Christmas now, so I've started doubling up on my Holiday cards. I should be good to go by Thanksgiving. I hope you will play along. See you soon.

Hello! Today I start my new job, not gonna lie I'm nervous. When I interviewed I noticed all the twenty somethings working there.... I'm old enough to be their mother. Hopefully they don't notice. I'm looking forward to having more time after work ( short commute) .I wonder what they will think of my ink stained fingers? This week's colors shouted Halloween to me right away. I inked my background and hills with distress oxides , I embossed the pumpkins, colored them with Zig markers and fussy cut them out. I am not the best fussy cutter. I used a black marker on the edges to hide that. I'm left handed , so I have a hard time with cutting. Thanks for stopping by.

Hello! Happy September 1st! Looking forward to fall colors and weather. I'm sharing my DT card for Simply Create Too's monthly challenge. This month our theme is Ribbon and buttons. I wanted to create something for fall , so I used orange buttons for pumpkins. I hope you will play along , I'd love to see what you can come up with.

SAF leather card #2

I'm back again with my other leather look card to share. I am not as happy with how this one turned out. I had a hard time getting it to flatten out. I like how the "leather " piece turned out, but when I placed it on the card base it just made the base curl inward. I will try this again to see what I did wrong. Thanks for visiting me.

SAF Leather

Hello, Trying to share my cards for SAF before time runs out. I wanted to make more, but between working and kids I didn't have enough time. I loved how the paper turned out on this card, but I wish I had used black ink. I feel like it is hard to see the sentiment. I used the same technique for the flowers. Hoping to sneak in another card or 2 before the deadline.

Greetings ! Only a few more days left at my current job, ready for something new. I've been so busy training people to take over some of my duties that the 2 weeks is flying by. I'm ready to try something new. I'm sharing my DT card for CC&S  's double challenge this week. I did not watercolor anything on this card, can you believe it?  But I did dip the pink flowers in water (does that count)  and then crumple them up.I hope you will play along with us.

Greetings ! I'm stopping in to share my DT card for Christmas Card Challenges. Our theme this challenge is colorful glass ornaments . I had a few of these SSS watercolor panels left from last Christmas , I was happy to find I hadn't colored this one. It fits this challenge perfectly. I added some glossy accents to all the ornaments , not that it showed up on the photo. Thanks for stopping by, off to check out what everyone else made. Be back soon.
