CC&S #266
Happy Tuesday to you all! I've been really busy, working a lot of extra hours due to a coworker out for back surgery (ouch) and several other offices short staffed as well. But extra money means more stamps and dies!!! I recently added this die (Altenew rose flurries) to my collection. It was a bit intimidating at first, but I LOVE the end result. Plan on seeing this one again real soon. This week we have a color challenge at CAS Colours and Sketches, these colors were really fun to create this card with. I sure hope you will play along with us . Be back soon.

Oh what fun!
Hello! Sneaking away for my mom duties a few minutes to share this card I made for the anything goes challenge at The Holly and the Ivy. I tend to favor green and red for my Christmas cards and I love to use classic holiday images. Not to say I don't like llamas , and fun images like that , but I usually lean toward the classics...Santa, snowmen, reindeer, etc. I'm throwing my hat in the ring for their DT call, I love the idea of helping inspire others to create their Christmas cards all year round. Thanks for stopping by today..now back to laundry, dishes, and baking that carrot cake for tomorrow.

CC&S 265
Hello! I'm dropping in with my DT card for CAS Colours and Sketches. This week we have a sketch challenge . I was aiming for a soft spring look with this card. I'm hoping for some spring like weather here soon. My spring cleaning with well under way here, just don't expect the craft area to be clean... I'm a messy crafter. Thanks for stopping by today.

Holiday Blessings
Hello! Stopping by with a card to share for the 1st CAS Christmas Card Challenge "Holly" . I created 2 cards and am sharing them both here. Card 1 made using distress inks to watercolor the Holly image, card 2 I used distress oxide inks to watercolor the image. I'm favoring card 1 because the colors are more vibrant. Thanks for stopping by today

CC&S #264
Hello! I'm back with this tasty little number! I love ice cream, frozen yogart, italian ice... all of it! This is my card for the CAS Colours and Sketches color challenge. I have been waiting for just the right color challenge to break out this stamp set (Concord & 9th "here's the scoop") , yes I have some stamps I haven't used yet. If you read my post a few challenges ago.. I refer to my stamps as my collection... no idea how many I own, but it's ALOT!!! and guess what I just ordered more! Someone stage an intervention please. LOL! I sure hope I'm not the only one. I am excited to see what everyone has come up with , and of course see what fun stamps they used.

More crafting
Hello! I'm back to share a card I created for a card making class I teach to a friend and her mother (card I taught was the green one) . I was inspired by the technique Jennifer McGuire used with distress oxides and water. I taught that for the class, but when I got home I played around with adding color back to the areas I removed color from. I'm pleased with the outcome. Playing along with The Flower challenge "Anything Goes" and Watercooler Wednesday Thanks for stopping by today.
