Hello! I'm back with another card to card today( there will be a few more to come) . I've been very busy creating today. For once I have no where to go, nothing to clean, no kids school project to help with, just ME time! I loved this week's inspiration photo at Color Throwdown. Being a water sign I'm drawn to everything coastal.. colors, lighthouses, boats... I love it all. I'm low on Thank yous right now so I went that route with these colors. Hello! I found a wonderful new challenge to play along with...Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers...doesn't the name alone crack you up? I thought I'd play along with their challenge " I is for Inky" ...I used ink on this and it's pretty snarky. I sell some of my cards to friends and co-workers and this is my best seller. MOM

Hello! Dropping by to share a card I made for my Mom for Mother's day. I've been too busy to share much lately... those boys and they're track meets. Happily the end of the school year is upon us, so I should be able to play along more. Greetings! I'm back with a fun card to share for the Holly and the Ivy Christmas card challenge. Do you plan ahead for the Holidays? I really try to, but as a working mom of 2 very busy teenage boys it's really hard. One of the things I do try to keep up with all year is my Christmas cards, by making a couple( I make 2 of everything I make) a month it's not such a huge task come November. I usually will have a couple extra that my coworkers will purchase from me (cheap, because I just use the money to buy more stamps). I used the Be Merry sentiments and Holiday houses from Wplus 9, watercolored then fussy cut them out. Thanks for stopping in today.

Hello! I'm back with another card to share for the CC&S color challenge. This weeks colors were a bit of a challenge for me at first, plenty of attempts in the trash. I used the Hello Lovely stamp from Concord & 9th and my Zig markers. I like to add a very light grey around my image and blend it out slightly to make it pop. I'm excited to see what everyone comes up with. It's interesting to see how different people use color combinations. I tend to lean towards colors I can use for florals. Be back soon.

Hello! I'm back with a card to share for the CAS Colours and Sketches sketch challenge. I chose to flip this sketch , but I feel it works great both ways. I needed a few baby shower cards so this cute stamp from Clearly Besotted fit perfectly. The weather is finally nice here so I'm looking forward to planting my garden this weekend. Something new !

Hello! I'm back with another card to share today. I joined a new design team " The Holly and the Ivy" , so look forward to more Christmas cards from me.The challenges are 'Anything goes" so it makes it so easy to play along. I love making my cards all throughout the year, so that I'm not scrambling at the last minute to make cards to send out. I also like to shop early, I'm one of those people. So In recent years I've done most of my shopping (since my boys are teens) on Amazon, so I've been buying a $25 gift card every pay day so when Christmas gets closer I will have plenty of gift cards to use.
