Have a lovely day

Hello! Hope you Monday is going well. I thought work would be busier than it was, but happily it went pretty smoothly today. I plan to craft some this evening, I need to make quite a few thinking of you and sympathy cards . I think this floral image will work great for both of those cards as well. Playing along with The Paper Players " one layer " challenge. Thanks for stopping by today.

Watercolor of vellum

Hello! I've been busy playing with some new supplies , enjoying a nice relaxing day. I'm playing along with the challenge at CAS Watercolor card challenge... the theme is watercolor on vellum. I wasn't sure how this would turn out, but I'm pleased with it. I heat embossed the image, and then did my watercoloring on the back. I found that I have to do an extra layer of color to get the color I was going for. I used some gold glitter washi tape to hold the vellum down, I didn't want to risk an adhesive showing. Thanks for stopping by today.

The Holly and Ivy #45

Hello and welcome!I'm sharing my card for The Holly and Ivy challenge blog.  I'm excited to be working on my holiday cards so early. I really went through a lot last year , so I'll need plenty this year. One of the cards I need most are thank you cards. I like to make special ones. This is an idea I saw on Pinterest and wanted to try it.The best part of making your holiday cards ahead.... Those stamps you fell in love with are back in stock after January. I used Ken Oliver colorbursts , sprinkler on very lightly and then sprayed with water and let the powder do it's magic. I am loving these colorbursts right now. I have only 1 collection, but I see that changing in the near future. Our challenge is an "Anything goes" challenge , so we would love for you to play along. Thanks for stopping by today.

CC&S #311

Hello! It's Tuesday so that means I'm sharing my DT card for CAS Colours and Sketches. This week we have a fun colour challenge. Several months ago one of my fellow DT ladies (sorry I forgot who) shared a gorgeous card using the dot/spot stamp from PTI, I was smitten. I finally located one from a de-stash sale. I think this might make an appearance again . I hope you will decide to play along with us  this week. Thanks for stopping by today.

Simply Create too #147

Hello! Happy Friday to you, I've got a busy day ahead of me today. I'm teaching a card making class , helping my mom paint her basement, laundry, and maybe relax for 5 minutes. This is currently my most popular card. Sells out really fast everytime I make a batch. Our challenge is "anything goes" with the option of for a male... I think this fits that nicely. I hope you will play along with us. Thanks for stopping by.

CC&S #310

Hello! I'm back with my final hostess challenge for February at CC&S. I've really found some wonderful inspiration in the cards this month. I hope everyone likes my sketch for this challenge. I'm loving the look of dies or stamped images off the top of the card so I wanted to create something featuring that. I did a loose watercolor over my floral image used my new watercolor set hubs got me for Christmas. I'm looking forward to more inspiration from you all. Thanks for stopping by today.

CC&S #309

Hello! I'm back with the 2nd color challenge for CC&S. I picked colors that have a warm spring feel as I'm longing for warm weather and sunshine. I live just outside of Chicago in NW Indiana , so right now I'm wanting sunny days and flowers. For my card I used a layering die from Altenew , I love this die and have used it in previous challenges. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with, so play along with us. Thanks for stopping by today.
