Friday friends with flair

So here i am again, last post tonight...i promise.  I've had a busy day , so i didn't get to this earlier.... work, laundry, holiday shopping, kids bathed and put to bed.....and now for the card making part of my day.  I finally opened this set up,  i picked it up a few weeks ago (it was a $5.00 friday set) , i deceided on the tone on tone look. Happy friday to you all!  I was so busy this week i'm late posting my make it monday card. I chose to stitch across the tree , instead of around it,   i thought it looked more like garland that way.  Thanks for visiting me, Sam

Poppy field inspiration

Hello from northwest indiana where i must sadly report it's snowing, not ready yet.  Hope the weather is better wherever you are.  This lovely creation is for the Simon says stamp challenge, using the poppy field photo as inspiration.... i love this stamp so any excuse to use it works for me.  Hello , happy thursday to you.  Hope the weather is good for you, we have snow in the forcast today(haven't seen it yet.).  When i saw the inspiration photo for "The Play Date Cafe #107"  i was so excited... love beetles and orange. This is what i came up with, stamps are all PTI, the punch is martha stewart... hope i did it justice. have a great day Sam
