Pin sights challenge.

Hello, popping in with a card to share for the Classroom's february pin sights challenge. I loved the aqua color and wanted to give it a try. I used the mondo hydrangea stamp /die and the hello sentiment from Essentials by Ellen. I die cut the sentiment multiple times and layered it . I really love this stamp, I've made several cards with it already. I hope to buy a few more of the floral stamps/dies soon. Thanks for stopping by, see you soon.

Hello, I am trying to sneak in a little crafty time. Who am I kidding? It's been hours , I even managed to get hubby to make dinner and kids to do the dishes. I recently purchased this fabulous floral stamp from a de-stash... I had not heard of The Ton ....I was living under a rock.... Boy was I missing out. I promptly checked out their site and made a wishlist , then I found the challenge.. I am very limited on supplies as this floral set is all I have right now. Hello, I'm back with a great color challenge for Christmas Card Challenges.I really enjoy trying to make non-traditional Christmas colors into a Christmas card. I like the challenge oftrying to find a way to make it Christmasy . I watercolored my striped background using hickory smoke distress ink, and the die cut sentiment is from SSS. I hope you will play along with us.

My youngest is playing in a local chess tournament , so up early, make mac n cheese for that, get him there, Now laundry and catch up on some things. I am going to make time to craft today... Hello, I so wanted to make more cards for the PTI past, present and future challenges... but life got in the way. I purchased this stamp when it 1st came out and still use it several times a year. I like the timeless feel to it. I love the trendy stuff, but tend to be practical when it comes to purchasing my supplies. I stick with things I know I will use over and over. Hello, I'm sharing my card for PTI's past , present, future challenge 2007. I took my inspiration from Amy's card . I used the masculine motif stamp set for the leaf stamp . I really liked those colors together. Now off to work, need $ to pay for more stamps.

Hello, I'm popping in to share my DT card for CC&S 's  sketch challenge . I have been trying to find some creative use for all my old bits and pieces of patterned paper recently, this sketch helped with that. I punched out the butterflies from a few small pieces I've had forever, I am going to duplicate this card with a thank you sentiment and mass produce a few, hopefully I will put a good sized dent in the pile. I hope you play along with us and see what you can create using this sketch.

PTI 2008

Hello, I'm finally able to sit down and create a few cards tonight. I found PTI mid- 2008 , so while I have lots of older sets, I don't have everything. I took my inspiration from this card by Nicole, I loved how the colors looked together. I really am enjoying this release look back ... it has helped my rekindle my love with some forgotten stamp sets. Thanks for stopping by.

Hello, hope your weekend is going well. Midway thru chess tourney season, so I've been a busy mom lately. I am still working on my holiday cards, want to be prepared earlier this year. I'm sharing my DT card for Christmas Card Challenges #6, theme this challenge is Horses in snow. I used this die from Papaertreyink , I like it as a silouette best. Hello , Glad you stopped by. I'm sharing my card for challenge #209... I thought Valentine's day when I saw these gorgeous colors didn't you? I used a SU embossing folder to add interest to the background without adding color. I'm trying to use more white background, it's still difficult since I love colored card bases. But I need to step out of the comfort zone a bit. I hope you will play along, can't wait to see what you come up with. See you soon.

Crafty Christmas Collaboration #1

Hello, I'm enjoying another day off this week...Yeah! This one was planned, heading to Indy in a few hours for the Indiana state chess finals. My boys both qualified this year. So I will enjoy a few hours to myself before the long drive. I am sharing this card for a new challenge ... Crafty Christmas collaboration. I used the snowflake card as my inspiration, I don't own that stamp/die set so I used something I hadn't inked up yet. I really liked this idea of sending a crafty friend things to make a card. I do try to make Christmas cards all year , it helps to play along with a challenge like this. thanks for stopping by.

Hello, I'm back with a card to share for SSS wednesday challenge "anything goes" and  SSS 'work it wednesday" . I recently picked up this background stamp from a 'destash" ... great find. I love it. This is my 3rd card with it . I used some distress inks to watercolor it. Now I must head off to bed, work in the am and it's been a stressful day.... dealership dented my car . See you soon.

Hello, I'm enjoying a relaxing day off today. So I get to join the blog hop early, YEAH! I knew I wanted to make several textured flowers to look like the little rosettes on the cookies. I spent alot of time making flowers last night, now I have lots left over... hmm what to do with those? I'm sure I will find something. Off to see what everyone else came up with. happy hopping.

Hello, at little late night crafting going on here tonight. I'm off tomorrow, doctor I work for needed  his gallbladder out... so I could play hooky this week. I really should be sleeping , as I made an early appointment to service my car before this weekend's trip .. nothing too exciting just Indy for the state chess finals. I recently picked up this fabulous background stamp from a destash... love it. I will be suing this one again real soon. Playing along with Addicted to Stamps "anything goes" challenge. Now off to bed, my subaru needs an oil change.

Hello, hope you are doing well today. I'm trying to squeeze in some relaxing crafty time tonight, in between work, feeding those hungry boys of mine, and the gym. This week's challenge was to make a spinner card. I wanted to use a die/stamp that wasn't valentine . I found I had this cute little sun. I added aqua mist cardstock inside to look like sky. Waiting for the storm

Hello, it's been a busy sunday here. I did my best to finish all the laundry today, we are expecting the ice storm anytime now.... hoping it misses us. I commute 40 minutes each way to work everyday and that is in good weather. I wanted to make another color with this hydrangea stamp, I felt the last one you couldn't see the sentiment as well. Hello, I'm enjoying a peaceful night in tonight. We are expecting an ice storm tomorrow , so I wanted to sneak in some craft time .. in case the power goes... fingers crossed it doesn't. My new supplies finally arrived after sitting at my local post office in sorting for several days ( I'm sure I'm not the only one tracking their order like a stalker). I couldn't wait to ink this stamp up. It might be my new favorite ( or at least until I order the peony stamp). I paired an Avery Elle sympathy die with the mondo hydrangea for the January mix up challenge @ the Classroom.Also playing along with SSS monday challenge Square cards.   I have needed a few too many of these cards lately, so I plan to made more. January mix up challenge

Hello, Hoping you are safe and warm tonight... It's dangerously cold in my neck of the woods tonight.. so I'll be staying in crafting tonight. I wanted to play along with The Classroom's mixup challenge, but I only have a very limited supply of Essentials by Ellen stamps/dies.... So I really have to stretch what I do have. I used the leaf from the mondo poinsettia stamp for my background and the diecut sentiment is Avery Elle. Hopefully the stamps and die I ordered yesterday arrive soon. SSS Start afresh

Hello ,. I'm back again with one more card today. This one is for SSS monday challenge .. Start Afresh, use something brand new. Well I ordered a few things on boxing day I had yet to ink up , this is one of them . I loved this little stamp from PPP . The back ground is SSS diagonal stripes,  I stamped it , then flipped the card base the other way and stamped it again. I love how it turned out. Thanks for stopping by. 

SSS Anything goes

Hello, I'm trying to enjoy my last few hours of holiday break.... I don't want to go back to work tomorrow.. I would love to be able to stay home and make cards all day. However I need to pay my bills and craft money doesn't grow on trees. This stamp/die set was something my mom got me for Christmas. She is so sweet and broke into my SSS wishlist while I was at work and picked out a few things and ordered them for me. Currently working on holiday thank you notes. Off to make more cards, be back soon.

Hello, so  as I said previously ... I'm crazy about this stamp set. I wanted to try a different version with this stamp. Good thing Christmas is only once a year, I have a feeling I might use this every day if I could. But I'm sure you can see why? And I will have a headstart on next year's cards. Have a great night.

Yes i know Christmas is over, but if you make as many as I do , it's best to keep at it all year long.
