The Holly and the Ivy #30

Welcome back! Today I'm sharing my card for the Holly and the Ivy Christmas challenge . I like to make a variety of different cards for Christmas, some fun, some religious, some classic Christmas. This covers all my card recipients. This fun card was made using the Neat and Tangled's Fa La la Llama stamp and die set. I made several of this card last Christmas for a craft show I participated in and they sold out quickly. I plan to make a few more of this card, in slightly different colors. Thanks for stopping in today, hope you will play along with us.. the challenge is "anything goes".

Double #274

Welcome back! Today I'm sharing my card for our double challenge at CC&S. I feel like this is missing something. But then again it is a clean and simple challenge. Does anyone else struggle with "man " cards? I have an awful time with them. You can't put a flower on them... so that is a struggle for me. I had all weekend to come up with something, but I spent most of it doing yard work. I have then sunburn to prove it to. For this card I used a PTI die, alcohol inked it, then added additional color to the letters . Thanks for stopping by today.

CC&S #273

Hello! I'm back with a card to share for this week's sketch challenge at CC&S. I really struggled with this one, I've been doing a lot of florals lately and just couldn't figure a way to make this a floral. So I went with the next best thing alcohol inks! I love them! I may or may not have all of the colors available. I added a few stars for interest. Thanks for stopping by today, now off to check out what everyone else made.

You matter to me

Hello! I'm dropping in today with another card to share for the Rainbow challenge @ CAS Watercolor challenge. For this card I used the same PTI large butterfly die , but I used distress oxide inks smooshed on the diecut image and then spritzed water over it and let the water do the rest. I really like the softer feel this card has. Thanks for stopping by today.

Rainbow butterfly

Hello! I'm stopping by with this fun rainbow butterfly to share for the CAS Watercolor challenge. Their theme for May is "Rainbow". I made 2 butterfly cards (I'll share the other tomorrow) , both slightly different. For this card I used a large butterfly die from PTI and colored it with some Zig markers ,spritzed with water and let the water do it's thing. I added a light wash of blue behind the butterfly , so it looks like it's in the sky. Thanks for stopping by today.

Stencil it

Hello! I'm sharing this simple card I made for the Stencil it challenge at SSS Monday challenge. I used the Ledger Drops stencil for this background and a simple sentiment. I felt the background was busy enough and this card didn't really need alot of embellishments. Thanks for stopping by today
