Hello! I'm back with a fun sketch challenge for CAS Colours and Sketches. When I saw this sketch I thought about doing a watermelon slice right away. I mad another watermelon card (you can find it on Instagram) to practice, couldn't have a goofy looking watermelon for the challenge. I am still in a summer mode with my cards this week. I really should start thinking fall soon... but just not ready yet. I can't wait to be inspired by all that play along with us. Thanks for stopping by today.

Hello! For those of you in the states happy ....that darn racket is almost over day. Not sure where everyone is located , but I'm just outside of Chicago in NW Indiana ( on the map where Indiana and Illinois meet closest to the lake) and fireworks are legal here (insert frowny face) and every night it sounds like a war zone outside. So I'm so looking forward to the 4th being over. I've been holed up in the basement with my little dog , she's shivering under the furnace and I've been crafting. I've been obsessed with this die from SSS lately . It really works will with this week's colors , don't you agree? I'm excited to be inspired by what everyone creates . Thanks for stopping by.

Hello! I'm re-visiting an old card idea I used some years ago . I changed up the colors, but the basic layout is the same. Do you ever do that? Sometimes I like a layout so much I'll create several cards in various colors . I have lots of friends that enjoy religous cards at Christmas time so I always try to make a few of those too. Hello! I'm stopping in with a share for the CAS Watercolor challenge. Since the theme is Ocean I choose this sentiment from IO , it's one that really speaks to me. I will be sending this card to my cousin , he works in the cruise industry so I always send him sea or boat cards. Hello! I have had a busy few days. My mom was out of town so I had to keep an eye on my Step Father (who had a brain injury 16yrs ago) , he is a hand full and gave me a hard time. Now that she is home I can relax. I wanted to make something fun and playful with these colors, so butterflies it is. I love to be inspired by my fellow DT members cards , as well as all of you who play along each week. It really helps each of us to think outside of the box. Thanks for stopping by today.

Hello! I'm back with a card to share for the Holly and the Ivy Christmas challenge. It's been really cool here recently, lots of rain . The weather has me feeling like a snowflake card this week. I used distress oxides over glossy paper and the stamps are PTI (snowflakes) and SSS (sentiment). I like blue backgrounds for snow cards ,but I need to try other colors. Thanks for stopping by today.
