Hello and welcome!I'm sharing my card for The Holly and Ivy challenge blog.  I'm excited to be working on my holiday cards so early. I really went through a lot last year , so I'll need plenty this year. One of the cards I need most are thank you cards. I like to make special ones. This is an idea I saw on Pinterest and wanted to try it.The best part of making your holiday cards ahead.... Those stamps you fell in love with are back in stock after January. I used Ken Oliver colorbursts , sprinkler on very lightly and then sprayed with water and let the powder do it's magic. I am loving these colorbursts right now. Hello! It's Tuesday so that means I'm sharing my DT card for CAS Colours and Sketches. This week we have a fun colour challenge. Several months ago one of my fellow DT ladies (sorry I forgot who) shared a gorgeous card using the dot/spot stamp from PTI, I was smitten. I finally located one from a de-stash sale. Hello! Happy Friday to you, I've got a busy day ahead of me today. I'm teaching a card making class , helping my mom paint her basement, laundry, and maybe relax for 5 minutes. This is currently my most popular card. Sells out really fast everytime I make a batch. Our challenge is "anything goes" with the option of for a male... I think this fits that nicely. Hello! I'm back with my final hostess challenge for February at CC&S. I've really found some wonderful inspiration in the cards this month. I hope everyone likes my sketch for this challenge. I'm loving the look of dies or stamped images off the top of the card so I wanted to create something featuring that. I did a loose watercolor over my floral image used my new watercolor set hubs got me for Christmas. I'm looking forward to more inspiration from you all. Thanks for stopping by today.

Hello! I'm back with the 2nd color challenge for CC&S. I picked colors that have a warm spring feel as I'm longing for warm weather and sunshine. I live just outside of Chicago in NW Indiana , so right now I'm wanting sunny days and flowers. For my card I used a layering die from Altenew , I love this die and have used it in previous challenges. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with, so play along with us. Hello! I'm back with a sketch challenge . I wanted to create something that would work as  a Valentine as it is just a few days away, but feel free to use whatever shapes you like. Hello! It's the 1st Tuesday in February and that means a new hostess (ME) and a new challenge at CC&S. I chose colors that lend themselves to Valentine cards, as the day is quickly approaching. While I don't send out many Valentine cards myself, I do sell plenty at work and the couple shops I have cards in. I"m looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.
