CC&S #354

Hello! I'm back with another color challenge, don't these colors make you long for spring? I want to be outside in my yard planting things. So since I can't plant anything I made a card with a lovely floral die cit. I used watercolor paper to cut the floral and then watercolored the pieces before assembling it on my card. I tend to go through sympathy cards in spurts in the winter months, so best stock up on them now. Thanks for stopping by today.

The Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge #63

Hello! I am back to making Christmas cards, good to start early. This year I plan to make 4-5 of each of the cards I make for this challenge. Why so many? Well I sell my cards to friends, coworkers, in 3 little shops locally and do 1 craft show in November. This past Christmas I sold so many that I ran out and needed to make more to send out to those on my own Christmas card list.... well that didn't happen. I came down with pneumonia 2 weeks before Christmas and was just too sick to make anything. So in an effort to be better prepared for things this year I think making batches of the same card will help out . Once you come up with the initial design the reproducing part is easy. For this card I used a die set from MFT , did a bit of ink blending behind the dies, gold splatter over the whole card and finished it off by adding nuvo crystal glaze over the berries. Thanks for stopping by and be sure to play along .

CC&S #353

Hello! I'm back with a fun sketch challenge to share. I used a stamp from Gina K for this card. I loved this image. The sentiments with it were sympathy, but I think it would also make great male birthday cards as well. I find that I get lots of requests for male cards and I often don't have a big selection, something to work on this year. Thanks for stopping by today.

CC&S #352

Hello! Welcome to the 1st color challenge of the new year. I'm going to attempt to use all the new stamps/dies I bought myself in November and December this year....I'll need to make ALOT of cards to achieve that goal. On this card I used my new masking stencil from TE and the stamp is from Honey Bee. I am enjoying all the new stencils on the market lately, I picked up quite a few of them and am looking forward to using them soon. I hope you will join us for this challenge. Thanks for stopping by today.

CC&S #351

Hello! I'm back with my final card for CC&S this year, don't worry I'll be back after the New Year. This week's challenge we were asked to pick a previous challenge and make it seasonal. Well this is what I had in mind for challenge #349 all along, I just didn't get the die in time to make it.  I'm looking forward to seeing what challenges everyone picks to make seasonal. Thanks for stopping by today.

CC&S #350

Greetings! I'm getting ready to send out my Christmas cards, so this challenge worked perfectly for me this week. I used this fabulous die from Pretty Pink Posh , ink blended the pieces to this week's colors, popped it on a die cut ,added a sentiment and some gold splatters and it was complete. I love how these colors look together, so festive and cheery. Thanks for stopping by today, don't forget to play along.

P.S. I will have a giveaway this week, for a chance to win comment below. Extra chance for subscribers.
