PTI march blog hop

Good evening, It's been a really long day. I spent 9 hours at a boring chess tournament..... YAWN!! Then when I came home I had no mojo ..... mojo still absent . I'm not sure I'm happy with this card, but I think if I keep playing with it I'll mess it up and have no card to share... so here it is like it or not. Off to check out everyone else's cards.

Hello, I'm stopping in with a card to share for this week's color challenge at CC&S. The colors are ones I would not normally use together, but I'm happy with the result. I stamped the image and used gold embossing , then watercolored the flower and background. I hope you will join us , I can't wait to see what other ideas people come up with for these colors. Design Re-do

Hello, last minute post... rough day. We had crazy snow squalls and it took me forever to get to work, got there late, spun car around (thankfully didn't hit anything), get into to work to find all the locals ( those who live in the city in work, i  live 45 minutes away) were running late, work up alone, and then after everyone arrived i check my cell (which has been going crazy in my pocket the whole time) to find that hubby was in an accident, he is ok, car not so much. SO i'm going to bed early! PTI has a challenge I wanted to take part in , you choose a card you made that you weren't happy with and re-do it. The original of this card was not my favorite, I felt it lacked something. Here is my re-do. now off to bed, nite all.

Hello, I'm popping in to share my card for this week's sketch challenge for CAS Colours and Sketches. I saw a sun when I saw this sketch. I wanted to have my background look like a sky without being too busy (remember it is a CAS challenge) . I am really happy with how this one turned out. I hope you will play along with us, excited to see what everyone comes up with for tis sketch.

Hello, stopping in today with a card to share for Christmas Card Challenges. On this card I used some pearl ex in both silver and gold colors over my stamped trees. I wanted to try to get the same feel as the inspiration photo. I hope you will play along with us.

March challenge

Hello, It's been a crazy day here. We had a major software update to our EMR at work... yikes! It didn't go smoothly. So to unwind I'll be coloring the rest of the night. I recently picked up this lovely stamp, I couldn't wait to color it. I made a few different versions, as I wasn't sure which color I liked best . I tried to do a little no line coloring, but I really liked the lines in the flower. I'm going to play along with The Ton March "lucky" challenge.. Have a great night, off to color.

Hello, I stopping in today to share my DT card for this weeks color challenge at CAS Colour and Sketches. I really struggled with this color combo, I tossed plenty of attempts in the trash. But I really feel this is what makes this challenge good, it pushes you out of your comfort zone. I tend to like blues, aqua and green alot.... if you follow my Instagram you already know this.
