Merry Monday #271

Hello! My 1st official challenge of the New Year! I created this for the Merry Monday embossing challenge. I set a goal for myself to play along with a least 1 blog challenge a week....This is a fairly new one for me. I used a sentiment from Neat and Tangled , embossed with WOW gold pearl embossing powder, and I used some distress inks and distress oxides for the background, then I splattered a bit of white for a galaxy look. Hello happy Tuesday to you. I can hardly believe it's less than 2 weeks until Christmas. I asked for crafty gifts (tools and stamps) this year. It makes me happy and I have so my items on my wish lists ( SSS 368 , Ellen Huston 294, The Ton 53, PTI 319 clearly I like making wish lists) so there is plenty for hubby to pick from, LOL!! This challenge we were asked to revisit a previous sketch and make it Seasonal. I chose (yet again one of mine from November) #251 . I love revisiting previous color/sketch challenges. Once I've seen what other people come up with it inspires me so much. I hope you will play along with us so I may be inspired by you.

Hello! I'm running on fumes this week... Anyone else know that feeling? I agreed to do another craft show, so I'm burning the midnight oil to be ready. I've been very successful recently with my card sales. This has left me with a low supply. YIKES! So mass production it is . My son's basketball games and school band concert in the mix this week isn't helping either, then there is that job thing , oh and throw in a mortgage closing on friday at 7pm (just a refinance for better rate) ....who is tried for me? So with all that going on I didn't have time to look through all the previous color challenges from this year to pick one out, so I used one from my month I hosted. #248. I love these colors and wasn't thrilled with my original card anyway. I hope you will play along with us. Be back soon.

Hello ! I'm back with my last sketch challenge card for my hosting month. I hope everyone liked what I came up with. I wanted a rainbow card somewhere in the mix this month, but not to busy.. remember we are a CAS challenge after all. I watercolored a rainbow panel, cut out the center( used for another card) added a die cut sentiment and some nuvo drops. I love rainbow cards, but don't make a lot of them. Season's Greetings

Hello! I have been working away on holiday cards for weeks now, hoping to have enough for my upcoming craft show and hopefully enough left to send out myself. This is a favorite of mine as it's gorgeous in any color, Iv'e made this in pinks, reds and purple and loved the results of each. Playing along with The Ton's monthly challenge Holiday, I think this fits. Now off to get our Christmas tree, we are in full decorating mode here today.

Hello ! I'm back with a color challenge card for CC&S. It's our 5th Birthday celebration , so I chose colors that felt like birthday celebration colors. I used alcohol inks for the balloons, anyone else try those yet? I really like them, but advice WEAR GLOVES! My fingers were stained for days , nails too. Good thing most of my patients can't see that I had rainbow fingers. I hope you will join in the birthday fun. As you know there are 5 DT members with prizes to give away , how do you win? Hello! I'm here with my final card for Christmas Card Challenges, this will be the blog's final challenge. I've been part of the team for close to 2yrs now and have really enjoyed it and have made lots and lots of Christmas cards. Our theme this challenge is Candy Canes ! I chose this printed watercolor panel from SSS, and used my Zig markers to watercolor it. I hope you will join us one last time.
