CC&S #362

Hello! Welcome back. Here is my card for this week's color challenge. I used this fun stamp/die from MFT. What a week it's been. I'm sure everyone has heard enough stressful information in the last week or few weeks depending where you live. I'm in NW Indiana , bordering Chicago. So I'm instead going to tell you a funny sorry about my kid... the 18 .year old. My goofy kid has been saving his paycheck and purchased himself an Ultra saber ( fanciest light saber , yep the star wars kind) , lights up and has sound too, well little brother purchased a cheaper one. During one of their nightly battles in the front yard ( keeping neighbors entertained) 18yr old hit brother's light saber and broke it... little brother then jabbed 18yr old in the chin with broken light saber accidently . Well the 18yr old needed stitches in his chin so off to the ER we went (this was 2 weeks ago) . Since he was 18 the nurse asked him what happened..... " fighting an epic battle for the fate of the galaxy " was the response the nurse got. It made his night, he laughed so hard and said "kid that was just what I needed" . SO I hope that brought a smile to your face today. It sure made my coworkers laugh when they heard it. Thanks for stopping by today.

Hello! It's been a whirlwind of emotions here the last 2 weeks. One of my close friends was diagnosed with lung cancer that spread to her brain... non smoker 49 years old. She has had the brain tumor removed and awaiting the plan for the lung mass. I've tried to be creative during this time, but it's been really hard. I have tons of new supplies to play with, so I should be crafting round the clock right now... maybe soon. This card was made using stamps from Wplus9 Most Wonderful set. I'm a sucker for a good snowman stamp or die. Thanks for stopping by today and happy crafting .

Hello! Hope everyone is doing well since last week. I've been working hard on my clean up /clean out . I'm trying to reduce the amount of things in our house... I said house not my craft room! Because that's not happening. I want to be better organized, and less stressed . My craft supplies bring me lots of joy and happiness, so they are staying . In fact while I said I was going to try to use my new purchases before buying more... how could I say no to this cute guy? He is from the mythical grumblings set from TE. I love him! I hope you will join us this week for a fun sketch challenge. Be back soon.

Hello! New month new color challenge! This fun color combination gave my the perfect excuse to use the rose botanicuts from the greetery. I'm just a wee bit obsessed with the greetery right now. Dies all cut from this weeks colors, I added a bit of ink on the edges of the roses for interest ( they looked a little flat) sentiment is PTI and finished it off with a couple studio katia crystals. I loved how this turned out so much I changed up the colors and die cut a bunch more roses, planning on making lots of cards with this layout. I hope you will join us this week.

Hello! I'm popping in today to share my card for this week's anything goes challenge at The Holly and Ivy Christmas challenge. The stamps are Peaceful dove Wplus 9 and Christmas sentiment strips TE. This dove was one on my wishlist for awhile now, finally back in stock. Don't you get so bummed when you see a stamp you love and it's sold out? That's one of the perks of creating Christmas cards all year, the Christmas stamps are always in stock in the off season. Thanks for stopping in today.

Hello! I'm back with my final challenge as hostess for February @ CC&S. I had fun hosting this month, I really tried to push myself to try new things. The stamps and dies are Concord and 9th , there is a turn about stamp that goes with this set too.but I felt that didn't really keep with our CAS design. I've been working hard to purge and organize my craft space, it is getting better. I would love to say I've used all the new stuff I purchased, but I keep buying more . If theses stamp companies would just not release anything new for awhile maybe I could catch up... LOL!!! Thanks for stopping by today.

Hello! I'm playing along with the sketch challenge at Paper Craft Crew today. I've been trying to get my mojo back after feeling burnt out for months, so I'm trying out a couple new to me challenges. I tried a few different background options before settling on this one. The floral image is from the Ton and the sentiment is Taylored expressions. Thanks for stopping by today.
