CC&S #323
Hello!I've been trying to get this card done all day. Life and bad weather have gotten the better of me today. This morning hubby and I were trying to finish the garden before the storms moved in , and then we had to hid in our basement as our tornado sirens (we live in the middle of siren hell!! 6 sirens going off at once) went off 6 times in 45 minutes. I live in NW Indiana , just outside of Chicago( on the map where Illinois and Indiana meet closest to lake Michigan), so not an area with a lot of tornados... until today( memorial day) . I haven't heard of any touch downs yet. We had a lot of rain and our street flooded , but we are safe and sound and my garden is well watered. I'm sharing my card for this week's sketch challenge. It reminds me of a card I made years ago (so long I couldn't find a photo to share) that I discovered has been pinned 21,000 times. Imagine my surprise when scrolling thru pinterest one day I come across it. I am excited to see what everyone comes up with. Thanks for stopping by today.

CC&S #322
Hello! It's been a busy few weeks for me, so I'm really looking forward to a nice long weekend. I'm sharing my card for this week's color challenge at CAS Colours and Sketches. I love the fun summer feel these colors have. I've been on a real alcohol ink kick lately and wanted to use those to make this card. I really love how this card came out. Thanks for stopping by today.

The Holly and Ivy challenge #49
Hello! Welcome back to another challenge. I'm disappointed in how this photographed. I tried multiple times, but the shimmery stars I added to the night sky just look like water droplets. It really looks so much better in person. Does anyone else have this issue? I've been very busy lately. Kids track season is almost over, so things will slow down after this week. Looking forward to a day when I can work in my garden. It's rained every weekend , so no time then. Thanks for stopping by today.

CC&S #320
Hello! I've got a very busy week ahead of me. Both boys have track meets (2 each) , having a garage sale with my mom and friend, working, and thursday night my oldest is being inducted into the national honor society. But fear not I will find time to craft, I might not sleep. I chose this fun SSS die for this challenge, so it worked nicely with these colors. Plus I LOVE this die. I've seriously made about 30 cards with it since I got it.Also playing along with CASology Mother challenge. Now off to work for this girl. Thanks for stopping in today.

Simply Create Too #149
Hello! Happy Friday!!!!! I'll be crafting my little fingers to the bone today, getting ready for a craft show in 2 weeks. Today's card features a stamp from the Ton stamps, I love their florals!! I die cut a scalloped edge frame from Honey bee, watercolored my floral image and added a couple of clear sequins . This is a card you could easily change the sentiment or the color of the flower and mass produce. Thanks for stopping by today.

CC&S #319
Hello! Happy Tuesday to you all. I'm scrambling to get all the things I need to get done completed. But then isn't everyone these days? I literally threw this together last minute. I had another idea, but I saw a envelope Kristina Werner shared with a speech bubble, and I knew I had to try it for this sketch. I rotated the sketch to fit my cat in. For the colors this week I blended them on with my life changing brushes (I like them , but my life didn't change) then stamped a SSS grid background with water to remove a bit of the color. I like the soft pattern it created. Thanks for stopping by today.

The Holly and Ivy challenge #48
Hello! I'm back with a fun card for the week's anything goes challenge. I just received some of the new sparkle alcohol ink cardstock, it's fantastic. I used indigo, sailboat and pool alcohol inks, and used some lift off ink for the sentiment and the splatter . I wish it photographed better.. it really is stunning. I 'm glad I ordered 2 packs, as I played alot with it and used most of the 1st pack. Thanks for stopping by today.
