Clouds

Hello! It's been a really busy few weeks for me. I have hardly had anytime to play along with my favorite challenges. So today while I finally had some time I made the most of it. This card is for the Cloud cue for CASology challenge. I die cut a couple of PTI clouds , ink blend some distress oxide ink , splashed a bit of water over the whole thing , a sentiment and some droplets finished it off. I am happy with the end result. I've been so unispired to create lately. It's been a real struggle to make anything. Thanks for stopping by today.

MIM #329

Hello! I'm stopping in with a last minute entry for MIM . I pulled out an older stamp (Rosey Posey) , I forgot how great this one is. I opted for a more subtle background color (soft stone) so my flowers would stand out more. This was a great technique, I ended up diecutting the background die from a piece of acetate so I could do this again in the future. Thanks for stopping by today.

CC&S #281

Hello! From wherever I might be... I'm on vacation this week. We are flying by the seat of our pants this year. So as of (when I wrote this ) today we have no plan , just getting in the car and driving. I'm betting that we will see a lighthouse or two . So here is this week's color challenge card..... love these colors together! Why? because they are great for flowers, and you know I love to make flowers. I can't wait to be inspired by your creations. Thanks for stopping by today.

CC&S #280

Hello! I'm back with a fun sketch challenge for CAS Colours and Sketches. When I saw this sketch I thought about doing a watermelon slice right away. I mad another watermelon card (you can find it on Instagram) to practice, couldn't have a goofy looking watermelon for the challenge. I am still in a summer mode with my cards this week. I really should start thinking fall soon... but just not ready yet. I can't wait to be inspired by all that play along with us. Thanks for stopping by today.

CC&S #279

Hello! For those of you in the states happy ....that darn racket is almost over day. Not sure where everyone is located , but I'm just outside of Chicago in NW Indiana ( on the map where Indiana and Illinois meet closest to the lake) and fireworks are legal here (insert frowny face) and every night it sounds like a war zone outside. So I'm so looking forward to the 4th being over. I've been holed up in the basement with my little dog , she's shivering under the furnace and I've been crafting. I've been obsessed with this die from SSS lately . It really works will with this week's colors , don't you agree? I'm excited to be inspired by what everyone creates . Thanks for stopping by.

The Holly and the Ivy #32

Hello! I'm re-visiting an old card idea I used some years ago . I changed up the colors, but the basic layout is the same. Do you ever do that? Sometimes I like a layout so much I'll create several cards in various colors . I have lots of friends that enjoy religous cards at Christmas time so I always try to make a few of those too. Thanks for taking time to stop by today.

CC&S #278

Hello! I'm stopping in with a quick share for this week's sketch challenge at CC&S. I am really really last minute with this card and I threw it together with some scraps I had laying on my table .... no joke! I've been in a bit of a mojo slump the last few weeks.Hopefully it reappears soon! Maybe checking out what cute cards everyone else made will help. Off to do just that, thanks for stopping by.
