CC&S #319
Hello! Happy Tuesday to you all. I'm scrambling to get all the things I need to get done completed. But then isn't everyone these days? I literally threw this together last minute. I had another idea, but I saw a envelope Kristina Werner shared with a speech bubble, and I knew I had to try it for this sketch. I rotated the sketch to fit my cat in. For the colors this week I blended them on with my life changing brushes (I like them , but my life didn't change) then stamped a SSS grid background with water to remove a bit of the color. I like the soft pattern it created. Thanks for stopping by today.

The Holly and Ivy challenge #48
Hello! I'm back with a fun card for the week's anything goes challenge. I just received some of the new sparkle alcohol ink cardstock, it's fantastic. I used indigo, sailboat and pool alcohol inks, and used some lift off ink for the sentiment and the splatter . I wish it photographed better.. it really is stunning. I 'm glad I ordered 2 packs, as I played alot with it and used most of the 1st pack. Thanks for stopping by today.

Hello! I'm stopping in with a card for our sketch challenge. I used the same stamp set as last week's card, from Ink Blot shop. When I finished last week's card, I thought that the set would work well for the sketch too. It's been a really busy week , getting ready to host Easter, kids track meets, work ... I really could use a nap. Hope everyone had a nice Easter, Thanks for stopping by today.

Hello! It's Tuesday so that means I'll be sharing my card for this week's color challenge. Last month I went to create(anyone else go?) and picked up this darling stamp from Ink Blot shop. I think these colors are perfect with these images. I think next time I have a difficult color combo I'll be using this stamp again. I have a busy week ahead of me and lots to do. I hope you all have a great week. Thanks for stopping by today.

The Holly and Ivy #47
Hello! I'm sharing my DT card for The Holly and Ivy Christmas card challenge # 47... Anything Goes. I've had this die in a basket (where I keep new things I haven't used yet) for around 7 months. I ink blended some distress oxides (broken china, chipped sapphire , and seedless preserves), sentiment and die are both stampers anonymous , die is cut from chalk paper, and then i mixed a bit of white paint (van gough) with a bit of ink on 3 pixie dust. I wish you could see the shimmer the sky has. I'm planning another card , but changing the sentiment. Thanks for stopping by today.

Hello! It's been a LONG week since last Tuesday. I'm sharing my card for this week's sketch challenge. I literally just threw this together at the very last minute with stuff I had lying around the craft dungeon ( I call it that because it's in the basement , and sometimes there are spiders ). I keep all the extra things I die cut in a plastic tub, and I had this alcohol inked piece for months just waiting for the right card to use it on. I was really having a hard time coming up with an idea for this sketch. Life has been rather hectic the last week. My husband's Aunt passed away and we had to travel for that, I had a terrible ear infection and kids track season has begun. So needless to say my house really could use magic elves or fairies about now, but the laundry is done . That might be because my boys keep after me,"Mom, my track uniform is dirty"... Thanks for stopping by today.

CC&S #315
Hello! I'm sharing this fun card today for this week's color challenge. I have had this stamp floating around unused for months (I have lots and lots of stamps sitting unused) and really wanted to play with it. These colors are perfect with this stamp. This makes me long for warmer weather, it snowed here today. I've used my time today to attempt a purge to craft items I don't use any longer. It's a BIG job, but really needs to be done. I plan to sell most of the things, but I will donate a few . I try to cycle out things I don't use and that makes room for new things. I like to keep my supplies fresh. I am excited to see what people come up with using these colors. Thanks for stopping by today.
