CC&S #396
Hello! I hope you are all doing well and healthy. I've been trying to finish fall clean up in my yard while we had a few unexpected days in the 70's here in the Chicago area.. the temperatures have broke decades long records here this week. I've had this Stamptember exclusive stamp for awhile and really wanted to use it... this sketch works great. I hope you will join us. Thanks for stopping by today.

Hello! I hope you all are doing well today. It's my son's 16th birthday today. He was born in an election year and hubs and I watched the election returns from labor and delivery while we awaited our 2nd child"s arrival. We were very anxious, he was due 12/15.. so just a bit too early. He was a decent weight (5lbs and 19 inches long) but was having difficulty breathing on his own. A few minutes after he was born he was taken by ambulance to another hospital ( the one I delivered at had no NICU, and I only went for a routine test) and 2 days later he took a life flight ride to another hospital in Chicago... scary times. That baby is now and happy healthy 6'3 kid. So this election year (for those of us in the states) remember while you might be anxious things won't always be that way. ..So now on to the card.... all stamps and stencils are from Taylored expressions. I'm working on Thanksgiving cards now, because as the numbers go up again I wonder if we will get together with family for Thanksgiving.. so I need to have plenty of cards to send out. Thanks for stopping by today.

Hello! I hope you are all doing well. I wanted to use the wreath stamp again , but I needed to make it look different from the other one I made with this stamp. Check back a couple challenge to see the other one. This time I used black watercolor paper and metallic watercolors. I love how this turned out. It was really easy and I plan to make several. I hope you will join us for another "anything goes" challenge. Thanks for stopping by.

Hello! I hope this week finds you all doing well. It snowed here today, just a few flurries. but it snowed. Our new fellow at the office is from California and had never seen real snow before, while we were all groaning about it , he was like an excited little kid. That inspired my use of snowflakes on this week's sketch. I hope you will play along with us at CC&S.

Hello! I hope you are all doing well. I have been working on getting fit... yep I've been exercising ALOT! I had been taking yoga for years and wasn't seeing any results, so I switched to aqua bootcamp and for the last 6 weeks I've been in the pool 6 days a week. I'm tired... but starting to see results. So tired or not I'll keep going. I needed to do something, because let's face it corona is depressing and I was getting very depressed. It has also saved me some $$ as I'm too tired to craft everyday, so I haven't bought a lot of new things...some new things just not as many as usual. hehe. The snowflake stencil and the sentiment are from TE. This card was a quick one to make and I plan to make several more in various colors. Thanks for stopping by.

Hello! I hope you are doing well today. I've been busy trying to get my card stash built back up, I sold almost all of my cards as a FB fundraiser to help my friend with cancer. So now I need to make a whole bunch. I loved this branch because I think by changing the leaf and berry colors I could make it a fall or spring card too. I have been trying to buy products that have more uses lately. Thanks for stopping by today, please join us for our "Anything goes " challenge.

Hello! I hope you all are doing well today. I used some leftover pieces from a previous card I made using these dies from the greetery. I am a fall fan , so I love fall leaf stamps or dies and this one is my current favorite. I used a TE stencil and sentiment and added some gold splatters to finish it off. I hope you will join us for this week's sketch challenge. Thanks for stopping by .
