Hello! I'm popping in to share this card for Christmas Card Challenges. This week's theme is snowflakes. I stamped my images ( all PTI ) in versa mark ink and dusted them with blue and white pearle ex . I always have such a difficult time getting good pictures of shimmery cards, anyone else ? Hello! I hope your Tuesday is going well. I've been busy getting the boys ready to go back to school. My hubby took them camping this weekend , so I had plenty of time to sort over their stuff, purge out , and clean . I am planning to re-organize my craft area this weekend. I started already, I picked up one of those 3 tiered rolling carts to organize the tools i use the most. I came across a few stamps I forgot I had, Like this lovely floral. This might be one of my favorite sketches for CAS Colours and Sketches. I can see myself using this one again soon. Be back soon.

Hello! It's tuesday again and you know what that means ? I have a card to share for the CAS Colours and Sketches challenge. I struggled with this card alot. I've been a bit detached from my crafting lately, I recently found out (on my birthday, how crappy is that? ) that I have a rare disease . I currently have very mild symptoms. So hubby decided we should drastically change our diets... no dairy, no caffeine, no sugar, no wheat, no corn.... so as of now I'm a rabbit. So I'm a bit off. If you know me you know I loved my diet pepsi. But I will get thru this without it. I will keep crafting, it keeps me sane. I hope to see you soon.

Happy Sunday to you. I'm enjoying the last few weeks until school begins again with my boys. I should start school shopping , but with the way they are growing lately nothing would fit by then . Such is life with teenagers. I'm sharing my DT card for Christmas Card Challenges. Our theme this challenge is snowman . I love snowmen ! I have 2 trees at Christmas, one with just snowmen on it. Hello! I'm back to share another card for the Christmas Card Challenge. When I saw the inspiration image I immediately thought of using the tree image from the Tim Holtz stamptember holiday set. It is perfect! I stamped the image, embossed it, then smooshed some distress ink over my paper. I plan to make a few more like this in different colors. Thanks for visiting me, see you soon.

Greetings from Niagara Falls. That is where I'll be when this posts. I was way over due for vacation. I have been so scattered lately. When making this card, I had it all finished then I noticed I put it together wrong, it was upside down. Hopefully I will come home refreshed .Growing up I visited the falls numerous times, my grandfather lived in buffalo. I have wanted my boys to see it for sometime now. I'm sharing my DT card for the CC&S sketch challenge. I have made so my sympathy cards recently I felt like making a happy occasion card, a baby card is happy. See you all soon.

Butterfly Birthday

Hello ! I'm finally home after work and baking in the heat (90 plus degrees ) to watch my son's all stars baseball. I'm sharing this colorful birthday card I made for my niece Holly, she will be 13 on sunday. She loves to come over and make cards with her auntie. Hello! Happy 4th of July ! I'll be enjoying a big neighborhood party. It starts with a kiddie bike parade and then the firetruck sprays the kids while us parents enjoy lunch in peace. My boys are getting older now and don't want to ride their bikes anymore. I plan to have hubby ride our tandum bike with me. I'm sharing my DT  card for CC&S 's color challenge. For those of you that have been following me for awhile knew I'd use some kind of watercoloring. I hope you will play along with us.

Pin-sights challenge

Hello,  I'm still crafting away my day. I feel very productive today. I wanted to play along with The Classroom's Pin-sight challenge ,but thought I ran out of time. Happily there are just a few days left. I took my inspiration  from the cake image . I am not too good at marbling with watercolor... I need work on that. I die cut the Essentials by Ellen Hello sentiment from some shiny gold paper to complete the look. Thanks for visiting.

Hello, Happy Sunday to you. I started my day with some relaxing yoga at the lake , only I got there late and had to be in the super sunny spot. I'm very fair, so I turned a little pink. I am going to play in my craft area for awhile today . I recently bought this floral stamp (the ton ) and wanted to water color it an orange tone, then I noticed this week's colors at color throwdown and decided to play along. Thanks for stopping by.

Hello, happy sunday to you. I'm enjoying a long weekend, not much planned . Sometimes just being able to relax is enough for me. I'm stopping in to share a card for the Christmas Card Challenge . I used an older stamp/die set from Hero Arts. I fuzzy cut it out, because the die left too much white around the edge for the look I was going for. I watercolored the background with some distress ink and used a distress marker and a waterbrush to color the ornaments. Thanks for stopping by.

Hello ! I'm enjoying some stamping time today. My oldest son wanted to have friends over last night, so he cleaned the house before and cleaned up after the friends left. So I have lots of free time today. I am playing along with the AAA words have power challenge. I'm completely out of birthday cards so that is what I'll be making for a few weeks. Alpaca Birthday card

Hello! I am stopping in to share this fun card I created for my boss's daughter. His family just returned from Peru and his daughter was crazy about the lamas there, so he asked me to make her a lama birthday card. I figure an alpaca is pretty darn close, she is turning 10 so I used 10 alpacas on the card. I used various distress inks to watercolor the alpacas . I hope she likes it . Hello, I hope your tuesday is going well. I'll be very busy at work today, as the doctor I work for returns from vacation today. I see some coloring in my plans for tonight... I like to color to unwind, doesn't everyone? I created this for this week's sketch challenge at CC&S. Truth be told I really struggled with ideas for this sketch (posting last minute). I tend to make a lot of floral or butterfly cards and couldn't find a way to make that fit for this sketch. I finally figured this out after many attempts ( those are in the trash pile ). Hello! I'm back with a card for this week's color challenge at CC&S. I'll admit when I 1st saw this combo I was stumped.I was telling my friend I had NO ideas on what I was going to do.  I recently purchased this stamp from SSS and wanted to try it with copper embossing, so it made this week's card easier. I watercolored the background and used a marker to fill in the blue. Overall I'm pleased with the finished card. I hope you will play along . See you soon.

Hello ! Summer is finally here, so I thought I would make this week's sketch into a summer card. I used SSS stitched circle and PTI's flip flop dies. The sentiment is from Impression obsession and I used some scrap pattern paper I had leftover ( my mind's eye). I've accumulated a large supply of scrap and have made a goal for myself to try to use up some everytime I sit down to make cards. So stay tuned, there is bound to be some "vintage" stuff here somewhere. I really need to purge some stuff, just haven't found the time yet. Hello! I'm back with one more card for The Ton's tic-tac-toe challenge. I used the same stamp as my last card, but in a different color. I wanted to try this flower in white. I stamped the flower in antique linen and then use a white watercolor over  that . I wanted the lines to show, but not stand out. Thanks for stopping by. See you soon.

Holiday stamping

Hello! I've been very busy this weekend. We stained our fence, cleaned the garage, yard work, cleaned the house, lots of laundry, and I still found time to stamp. YEAH!!! Playing along with The Ton's tic-tac-toe challenge. I chose the bottom row... no-line , non-rectangular card, water color. I am very limited on my stamp selection ( hopefully not for long) so I don't have a lot of sentiments yet. I was thinking about making this a sympathy, as recently I've needed several. Hello, happy sunday. I'm recovering my a craft show I did yesterday. I sold some of my cards. Being of a few design teams , means I always have more cards than I can use. So when I can I try to sell off my extra stock. This week's Christmas Card Challenge features a die cut wreath. I hope you will play along with us. Now off to soak my feet... Pin-sights challenge

Hello, I'm finally home and have a chance to share this card for the Classroom's Pin-sights challenge. When I saw the pins this month I knew I wanted to do the hydrangea in purple. I love this stamp , it's so pretty.  I love Pinterest ( kind of an addict 30,000 pins ) , so this is a challenge I will embrace whole heartedly . Well now off to bed, it's been a long day and I need to warm up after standing outside in the cold for a track meet. See you soon.

Hello, hope your week has started out well. I'm really running around these days. My youngest is in track and baseball , I work 40 plus hours and I'm trying to get ready for a craft show I'll be doing later this month. I chose to flip this week's sketch , I just liked it better this way. I really had a hard time envisioning the end result for this one. Numerous attempts in trash . I am pleased with this one. Now off to make more.

MIM #283

Final card for the day, promise. I created this for a co-workers birthday. Playing along with Papertrey Ink's MIM challenge, water color wash. I watercolored the background paper and then added this gorgeous die cut and a sentiment. Simple, didn't take much time (except for the paper to dry) and I'm pleased with how it turned out.I plan to make a few more using this design and other colors and sentiments. Still crafting away

Hello, I've been busy most of the day crafting. Enjoying the quiet time alone after a busy week. I'm playing along and trying out for the design team over at AAA cards. As soon as I saw their inspiration photo I thought of this stamp set. I thought about doing more colorful feathers, but settled on a tone on tone color . Hello, happy sunday to you. I hope you weekend is going well. I hope to find time to relax.... my youngest has us on the run lately. He is in track at school and a local little league baseball team and they over lap most days. I wish I had the energy my 12yr old does. Today's card is for Christmas Card Challenges. I rarely use my cricit , it collects more dust than anything. I used a Christmas cartridge for the tree and added some ruby slipper nuvo drops for ornaments. I hope you will join us. Now I'm off to take a nap.

Crafty day

Hello, hope your weekend is going well. I'm planning to craft away my day today. I managed to get all my chores done yesterday in between baseball and dinner with friends. I'm working on sympathy cards today. I am always scrambling to make one when I need one, so I'm going to make several today. A hint of pink
