CC&S #329
Hello! I'm sharing my card for this week's sketch challenge. I recently picked up this octagon die set, this is the largest size. I wish it was a bit larger, but I like it. I covered the die with a new washi tape from Pink fresh , and watercolored some gold paint over my sentiment die to finish it off. I've been really busy working in my yard the last few days, as it was finally cooler and dry. I am almost finished with the things I need to finish up on , my goal is to complete all outdoor projects this summer so next spring when I have to host a graduation party for my son, I won't be spending all my time doing all those projects. I had planned to get more done by now, but the whole month of May it rained... no joke! It rained 22 days in May here. Thanks for stopping by.

Hello! It's finally warmed up here, maybe a bit too warm for my liking. We've had unseasonably cool , rainy weather here. My garden is doing really well with all the rain, so that has been a plus. I'm haring my card for this week's color challenge. I wanted to have some color around the birds, so I water colored some of the petal pink around the image. I like the soft glow it gives it. I'm looking forward to seeing what you all come up with, I'm hoping to see some fun florals. Be back soon.

Hello! I'm sharing one of my "go to" holiday card designs. This card is super easy to mass produce. I smooshed some distress ink colors ( chipped sapphire and stormy sky ) onto some watercolor paper, and add a sprinkle of perfect pearls while still wet, heat emboss a sentiment and finally the snowflake die. I've made this in a couple color combos and still loved the effect. Thank for stopping by today.

Hello! What's everyone been up to ? I've been doing some purging to my basement. My youngest son had a huge growth spurt in the last 6 months (7 inches) , he is 14 and out grew EVERYTHING his wears. I mean everything. So I packed up all of his clothes , plus all the clothes from my older son I was hoping would fit the younger one this summer to donate. My house used to have coal bins in the basement and the previous owners turned them into storage cabinets, which I also cleaned out. Now if only I could muster the energy to do my craft area. I'm getting closer, everything around it has been re-organized. So now to the card.. for this week's color challenge. I pulled out the Hello Darling stamp set from SSS., sadly this has been sitting un-inked since it arrived (march maybe? ). That is one of my main goals , to used my stuff before I buy more... Who am I kidding! We all know that's not going to happen. LOL!Well thanks for stopping by today, be back soon.

Hello! Welcome back , I'm stopping by to share a card for this week's sketch challenge. I recently picked up this fun lighthouse stamp, have I mentioned that hubs and I are huge lighthouse fans. We are planning our summer vacation now, planning on hitting the east coast. I did stamp a grid pattern on the red paper, but since it's tone on tone it's not showing up . Thanks for stopping by today.

Hello and welcome back to another challenge. I love snowmen , so when I saw this sweet stamp was free with purchase from Altenew ( many months ago) I had to have it. I'm mid purge in my basement/craft area. So far I have a small amount of craft things gone through, but a TON of other stuff. It helps that the school year is over here and I had my boys purge out what doesn't fit ( for youngest it was almost everything) . My donate pile is HUGE. I've been wanting to re-do my space for some time now, hopefully this purge will motivate me enough to complete it. Thanks for stopping by today.

Hello! I'm back with a card for this week's color challenge . For this card I used the new Fleur impressions stamp from the Greetery, anyone else buy this stamp? I love this layered stamp, such a beautiful finished product. My final layers on the pink and the yellow are a bit darker than this week's color, but I think it will pass. It's been a busy past week for us here, work (training a new employee) , kids finished school, hubby and I went to Michigan for a wedding( he photographed it) , stopped at a couple wineries on way home, did I mention we left our teenagers home alone? Don't worry neighbors were watching and grandma lives down the block. Came home to a huge mess... not the kids fault! Our freezer in the basement died and did you know the frozen butter braids (coffee cake, funderaiser items for school) explode? well now you do. I can't even begin to explain the huge mess it was. Well thanks for stopping by today.
