Play Date Cafe #135

Good Morning everyone. It's the last day of school for my kiddos, so after I walked them to school(late start today) I had some creative time to myself...ahhhh!  Between work, kids, hubby and baseball season I've not had enough of that lately. This card is for the Play Date Cafe #135,  I like to try those challenging combos . I find that they help me push myself to try somethings I might not otherwise. Hell! Finally home from a VERY long day at work, then my oldest son had a baseball game.  Now I really need to rest my left foot it's hurting badly tonight. Hello, late posting for this. The weather was pretty good today, so worked in the yard all day.  Kind of disappointed with how this photographed. The detail didn't show up too well. I used my new frame out #2., i stamped the dotted image all over the yellow cardstock randomly, it looks cool in person.  Off to bed now, wiped out from all that yard work. Nite Sam

PTI Febuary blog hop

Hello, finally able to get my card for the Papertrey ink febuary blog hop..... I was on call today, eye emergencies wait for no one.  The challenge this month was to make an inter-active card... great chance to try out my new slider die. I think I'll be making alot of these slders, they will be a be hit with the co-workers(aka my customers) . The Paper Players Design Team Call

Here is my final card for the night.. from sketch #4 . This morning when I saw all the sketches  I said , I'm going to do them all..... then  I worked 7hrs(left early  due ti snow storm) , drove home in snow storm, dinner, laundry... now more energy.... alas only 3 cards. Really wiped out all a rough work week so heading to bed shortly. we'll be busy with snow clean up in the morning.... have a great night, Sam

This is my take on Play date cafe's color challnge.  I just picked up this paper ack on monday and have already used it on several projects.... it's from the lost and found sunshine pack.  I adore all 6x6 paper packs.  I saw someone was giving several away on her blog.... I was drooling over them.  I find one I like and I'll use it until it's gone. Hello, on snow watch here in the chicago area..... We have had very little so far this season, so people are all a buzz about the predicted snow coming our way.  While checking out the challenges today I saw that Our Creative Corner has a design team call.. hmm?  I like to challenge myself to try new things, so here goes.
