CC&S #317

Hello! It's Tuesday so that means I'll be sharing my card for this week's color challenge. Last month I went to create(anyone else go?) and picked up this darling stamp from Ink Blot shop. I think these colors are perfect with these images. I think next time I have a difficult color combo I'll be using this stamp again. I have a busy week ahead of me and lots to do. I hope you all have a great week. Thanks for stopping by today.

The Holly and Ivy #47

Hello! I'm sharing my DT card for The Holly and Ivy Christmas card challenge # 47... Anything Goes. I've had this die in a basket (where I keep new things I haven't used yet) for around 7 months. I ink blended some distress oxides (broken china, chipped sapphire , and seedless preserves), sentiment and die are both stampers anonymous , die is cut from chalk paper, and then i mixed a bit of white paint (van gough) with a bit of ink on 3 pixie dust. I wish you could see the shimmer the sky has. I'm planning another card , but changing the sentiment. Thanks for stopping by today.

CC&S #316

Hello! It's been a LONG week since last Tuesday. I'm sharing my card for this week's sketch challenge. I literally just threw this together at the very last minute with stuff I had lying around the craft dungeon ( I call it that because it's in the basement , and sometimes there are spiders ). I keep all the extra things I die cut in a plastic tub, and I had this alcohol inked piece for months just waiting for the right card to use it on. I was really having a hard time coming up with an idea for this sketch. Life has been rather hectic the last week. My husband's Aunt passed away and we had to travel for that, I had a terrible ear infection and kids track season has begun. So needless to say my house really could use magic elves or fairies about now, but the laundry is done . That might be because my boys keep after me,"Mom, my track uniform is dirty"... Thanks for stopping by today.

CC&S #315

Hello! I'm sharing this fun card today for this week's color challenge. I have had this stamp floating around unused for months (I have lots and lots of stamps sitting unused) and really wanted to play with it. These colors are perfect with this stamp. This makes me long for warmer weather, it snowed here today.   I've used my time today to attempt a purge to craft items I don't use any longer. It's a BIG job, but really needs to be done. I plan to sell most of the things, but I will donate a few . I try to cycle out things I don't use and that makes room for new things. I like to keep my supplies fresh. I am excited to see what people come up with using these colors. Thanks for stopping by today.

Freshly made sketches #381

Hello! I've been suffering with allergies today, so I am staying in playing with my craft supplies. I just received this fabulous washi tape (the ton stamps) and really wanted to use it. The sketch at Freshly Made Sketches is perfect to show off this washi tape. I covered a piece off white cardstock with the tape, added the purple papers and die cut the thanks sentiment from some rose gold glitter cardstock  to finish it off. Now  I need to find some more kleenex... achooo ! Thanks for stopping by today.

Sleigh bells ring...

Hello ! Happy Tuesday, I'm sharing my card for the Holly and Ivy challenge. It's wonderful to be so far ahead in my Christmas cards . It's finally supposed to be warming up here this week. I'm anxious to work in the yard. I think I might not have lost as many tulips as I thought. In the fall the day  after I planted over 100 pink tulips bulbs I noticed a squirrel digging everywhere I had planted . I was out looking around yesterday and saw several coming up. Thanks for stopping by today.

CC&S #314

Hello! It's Tuesday, so that means I'll be sharing a card for CAS Colours and Sketches. This week we have a sketch to play with. I love this die , but often struggle with ways to use it. For this card I used alcohol inks and alcohol pearls , then die cut the madel, embossed a sentiment , and finished with a couple of clear sequins. I'm really happy with the look. Once I get a couple more (who am I kidding the rest of the) acohol pearls I plan to make this in another color combo. Now off to figure out why someone is blowing off fireworks (at 11pm on a Sunday)  or If we are under attack. Thanks for stopping by.
