 Hello! I hope everyone is doing well. This is our last challenge for 2021. We are to pick a previous sketch and make it a holiday card. I picked #417 to use. I made this card using a stencil from Taylored expressions and a sentiment die from Pinkfresh studio. I hope you all have a joyous holiday .

 Greetings everyone. I hope you are all doing well. I had a busy evening, our little doggie was not using a back leg this evening, so off to the emergency vet we went. She has a sprained foot. Most likely from her leaf pile jumping adventures the day before. Yesterday I was in a rush to finish clearing our leaves (lots of trees on our lot) , leaf blower and one happy , crazy little dog running as fast as she could into the leaves. Well she overdid it. On to the card, pre-printed panel from Taylored expressions, foiled and then stenciled on this week's colours. These are my favorite, so easy and looks great in almost any color.  Hello! I pushed the boundaries a bit with my take on this week's sketch. My circle isn't centered or to scale. I really wanted to use this stamp. It's from Taylored expressions. It was free with purchase , only i didn't purchase enough for it. I saw someone post this for sale and missed out, but someone in the post comments section messaged me she had one and would send it to me... free! She wouldn't even let me pay the postage. How sweet is that? It's nice that people are still willing to do nice things for others. Thanks for stopping by today.

I''ve probably made more cards in the last 30 days than i have in the last 12 months, over 300. I'm not worried about selling them all, I have several friends waiting to get Christmas cards from me after the show . This is a card I mass produced for the show.  Hello! I am happy I found the time to play along with this week's Color Throwdown challenge. I saw their turkey inspiration and had to create something. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and I love to create cards for it. I find there aren't enough turkey images or dies, so when i saw this  one day i had to have it. Thanks for stopping by today.

 Greetings all, I hope you are all doing well. I'm settling into the new job nicely. Still waiting for people to spit fire or heads to spin.. but that hasn't happened yet. My niece is getting better everyday too. For this week's card I decided to break out these printed panels you could foil after stenciling the colors on... my very 2st time foiling and I didn't mess it up . I'm going to try it again... might need lots more foil stuff. Thanks for popping by and have a fabulous week.

 Hello! I hope everyone is doing well. I've been dealing with a lot of extra stress in life the past month. I left my very stressful job, had shingles the last 2 weeks there, started the new job right away. 2 days before I started my new job my niece was placed in ICU with severe Covid (no vaccine, allergic to flu vaccine couldn't get it) she almost died upon admit, got a bit better, then dramatically worse and was placed on a ventilator , had a massive stroke, now has a tracheotomy and feeding tube. She is now Covid negative and in a stroke rehab facility. She lives outside of Nashville , her mother (my oldest sister) lives outside Chicago. But in happy news new job is going well. So much less stressful. Now on to the card which I'm sending to my niece. I loved this sunflower die and needed a project to put it on, this worked perfectly. Thanks for stopping by today.

Hello! I hope you all are doing well . I've been a bit stressed about work lately. The office I work at announced their plans to close in the next few months, add that to an already stressful workplace and you have a recipe for disaster. Last week I resigned, so after 29 years in eyecare I will be finished this week. I accepted a position much closer to home as a surgery scheduler ( I currently schedule retina surgeries ) at a local hospital. So prayers for a better work environment would be appreciated. So now to the card... I'm over summer, so Halloween it is . Dies are from memory box. Thanks for stopping by today.

Hello! I'm back with a fun twist on this week's sketch , I flipped the sketch to fit the butterfly image better. I stamped the butterfly and embossed it in black, then used a couple Zig water color makers and spritzed with water. I used the same Zig markers for the background stripes and spritzed with water and let the ink flow around a bit. We just returned from a relaxing vacation , 3 national parks in 6 days. We went to the Mammoth Caves, Smokey Mountain and Shenandoah national parks. When we returned it looked like my garden exploded, the new drip system we put in and the hot days while we were gone made things double in size.

Hello! I hope you are all doing well. I've been trying to catch up on my garden weeding between the rain we have been having and work. I tried a lot of new flowers this year and am pleased with how most of it is coming along. It's been so gloomy here this week I felt like making something really colorful to brighten my day.

 Hello! I know it's the 6th of July, but this week's colors said fall to me. I've had this die floating around my desk for months waiting to use it. I think these colors worked out perfectly. I hope everyone had a safe a happy 4th , we stayed home and enjoyed the neighborhood fireworks and fire... yep one of the new neighbors ( moved in from another state where fireworks aren't legal) got a bit carried away with celebrating and burned his garage with the car in it to the ground, was able to see most of that safely from a lawn chair on my own yard. It was notably quiet the next night... hmm? Sorry if that sounds mean, I don't enjoy fireworks and work in a field where I've seen more than my fair share of eye injuries due to fireworks, I'd be ok if they were illegal. Hello! I hope everyone is doing well. We have had more than enough rain here the last few days. A few of my flowers in pots are looking a bit sickly after floating for days on end. We had been having a drought, down a foot of rain this season so far.. I think we might have got that much in 4 days, with more in the forecast this week. My lawn looks lush and green, and the weeds sure are getting big... LOL!! I hope to be able to get to them this weekend. Thanks for stopping by today.
